Cordyceps Sunshine [ CS Group] , a Taiwanese expert in precious fungi, began its business by restoring authentic Cordyceps sinensis fruiting bodies. Since 2020, it has focused on Antrodia cinnamomea, Taiwan's most representative medicinal fungus. By integrating industry resources, it has acquired multiple patents for mass production of Antrodia cinnamomea fruiting bodies and officially established an Antrodia cinnamomea cultivation center in Yilan, beginning its efforts to advance Antrodia cinnamomea cultivation and mass production in Taiwan. On March 30, 2023, the company successfully filed its initial public offering prospectus with the U.S. SEC.

Merged Taiwan's Antrodia cinnamomea assets
Taiwan's reigning fungus champion , Antrodia cinnamomea, has undergone years of market research and accumulated thousands of studies both domestically and internationally. Its medicinal value is undeniable, and it has recently become a hot topic for biopharmaceuticals. Due to its significant health benefits, the market demand for Antrodia cinnamomea raw materials has reached such high levels that its sole parasitic host, the native Taiwanese Cinnamomum camphora tree, has become endangered. The government has issued a ban on illegal harvesting and increased penalties.
The key to the long-standing stagnation of Antrodia cinnamomea production lies in the Cinnamomum camphora tree. Balancing industrial development with environmental conservation has always been a key concern. Recognizing this clear market opportunity, CS Group experimented with tens of thousands of material combinations before ultimately settling on ceramic as the medium for cultivating Antrodia cinnamomea. Simulating the structural density and water-absorbing pores of basswood, they combined a nutrient solution tailored to Antrodia cinnamomea growth and inoculated it with a carefully selected, robust strain of the fungus. Ultimately, they cultivated Antrodia cinnamomea that rivals wild varieties in both appearance and active ingredients, effectively overcoming the core issue that had plagued the industry for years: a shortage of basswood.
CS Group is committed to restoring Taiwan's precious Antrodia cinnamomea
CS Group has established 10,000 Antrodia cinnamomea cultivation bases in Taiwan, achieving a stable annual output. The company is continuously expanding its production facilities around these bases to boost output. This year, the company has established directly-operated stores under its Tiancao.Gasar brand, specialized in Antrodia cinnamomea, in popular locations such as Dihua Street in Taipei, the East District shopping district in Taipei, and Sanfeng Middle Street in Kaohsiung. The stores offer a wide range of Antrodia cinnamomea health supplements and fresh produce, creating the largest Antrodia cinnamomea specialty store chain in Taiwan and sparking numerous community health discussions.

CS Group has mastered the core technology of Antrodia cinnamomea cultivation—the cultivation carrier. To successfully expand into the international market, the company has applied for patents in Taiwan and China for the "Antrodia cinnamomea Cultivation Method and Porous Cultivation Carrier" technology, with applications pending in the US and Japan. CS Group has also obtained the only "Group Standard for the Technical Specification of Antrodia cinnamomea Production" issued in China. We believe the combined benefits of the Antrodia cinnamomea assets will be limitless for the Group's development.
Obtain US stock listing code
CS Group recently successfully obtained a US stock code for listing in the pharmaceutical chemicals and botanical products industry. In recent years, the US stock market has shown significant interest in companies with ESG (Eco-Friendly Social Growth) initiatives. Coupled with the aging population, global warming, food insecurity, and global infectious diseases, these trends will support the long-term growth of biotech, pharmaceutical, and food asset-related stocks in the US capital market. CS Group, an expert in precious fungi, adheres to the principles of environmental conservation, social responsibility, and corporate governance, making it a true ESG stock with a promising future. The company will focus on developing its Antrodia cinnamomea business, with a short-term goal of listing on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange. The Group's future prospects are promising.
